Lunch was absolutely amazing 🤩 from the food to the staff, and the owner “Simon,” made it 100 times better! The owner greeted us from the time we arrived and checked on us while we enjoyed eating our lunch. We absolutely love ❤️ this place they have the BEST CONEY ISLANDS IN THE WORLD 🌎 WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK AGAIN!!!

1st time here today 9/24/24 Found them on Google. Husband got the footlong coney dog and full order onion rings. I had chicken tenders and fries. Coney dog, my husband loved the toasted bun and said he really liked it. Onion rings looked good, he didn't share lol. Chicken tenders, I received 5 good sized tenders. I got the bbq sauce to dip. The sauce was different, it had like an oriental sweet heat to it. My fries were on the greasy side. There was quite a bit of Indian decor. Beautiful figurines. Waitress was very nice! Everything served hot and quick, correct too. She checked back often too.

The staff was friendly and attentive. Food was great. The restaurant was clean and fresh. They have a nice patio area to use when the weather is nice. Great place for some coney dogs.

1st of all our server Ann made our experience worth while right of the bat. The service she gave us was above and beyond what you would expect at any establishment. Now let's get to the good yummy stuff. This place already has their own foot long coney with hands down thee best coney sauce in the business. So I decided to order off the secret menu which was the coney dog omelet cause I wanted the coney but needed breakfast. So definitely do not hesitate and they will accommodate. It was the bomb. Definitely check this place out and they will not disappoint. Happy eating and Super Chief will not disappoint.

I’ve grown up 5 minutes from this place and driven past it thousands of times the past 30 years without ever stopping. I finally tied it over the weekend and it was lights out the best coney I’ve ever had; it beats all the chains and the Detroit ones as well. I literally finished an entire dog before my wife finished her first bite. I’m guessing it’s the great bun and the well proportioned ingredients, well done. Also, solid tots and onion rings for respectable prices. Definitely worth a stop.

The waitresses were super friendly and their pictures dont do the taste justice! I got carryout and it was super quick and efficient! The owner is always there to put a hand up in a welcoming way! TY Super Chief! I will be back to see Vee and Mel TY girls! TY cook! Delicious!

I cannot say enough good things about this place. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel like part of the family. They were attentive and warm without being intrusive, which really set the tone for a great experience. As for the food, the portions were absolutely perfect—enough to feel fully satisfied without being overwhelming. Every dish was clearly prepared with care and arrived piping hot. It’s rare to find a spot where both the service and the meal hit the mark so consistently. I’ll definitely be returning soon!"

this coney is the best around! you could tell that everything was freshly made, the people there were welcoming + friendly + kind. we came on Valentine's Day for lunch and they gave out flowers. so sweet, definitely make the trip here. this isn't your average coney. 🙂

Heard there was a new owner. Been going to the Super Chief for 40 years, my family even longer until the original owner sold it to that woman who said she wouldn't change anything, until she did. We stopped going shortly after that. Heard there was another new owner and he was trying to change it back so we decided to give it another try. Even though the building has changed the food seamed to be going back to the original way. Simon the new owner came out and talked to us, reassured us things were going back. He listened to our suggestions and thanked us for coming in. Onion rings, hot dogs with the shaved toasted bun and chili fries were good. Food took a bit longer to come out but it was hot and fresh, we didn't mind but would think twice if time is an issue at lunch. Restaurant was clean and everyone was friendly. We will be going back. Keep up the good work Simon, thanks for saving the Super Chief!

I had to come on here and give this place the recognition it deserves because Pontiac Super Chief absolutely lived up to the hype—and then some. This all started after I saw a TikTok video raving about their foot-long coney dogs, calling them the best around. Naturally, I hit up my buddy who lives out in Bloomfield Township and said, “We’ve gotta go check this out.” As luck would have it, we stopped to grab gas on the way—at a spot where he actually takes his car to get worked on. He mentioned we were headed to Pontiac Super Chief, and the guy at the shop immediately starts rubbing his belly and says, “I’ve been there a few times… great food, great people.” That was all the confirmation we needed. We rolled up, walked in, and got seated right away. Unfortunately, I can’t remember our waitress’s name, but she was outstanding—seriously top-tier service. We told her about the TikTok video and the whole gas station story, and she was all smiles. Super upbeat, friendly, and genuinely excited to talk about the food. She explained what makes their coney dogs different and how they prepare them, and you could tell she took pride in the place. Now let’s talk about the food… We ordered the foot-long coney dogs and split an order of onion rings—and wow. The coneys absolutely delivered. Flavor was on point, perfectly prepared, and everything just hit. But the onion rings? I honestly don’t even know how to fully explain it—they were unreal. Crispy, flavorful, and hands down some of the best onion rings I’ve ever had in my life. From the service to the food to the overall vibe, this place is fantastic. You can tell it’s one of those local gems that people love for a reason. I’ll 100% be back—and next time, I’m diving into those burgers. Highly recommend.
